"NEGATIVE Calgary Housing Outlook" is not true!
Sometimes the idiocy of so-called "experts" astounds the partners at iDeal Calgary Homes. Here is a recent quote from the CBofC:
"Housing starts in the Calgary metropolitan census area fell by more than 50 per cent in the year to April 2015, according to new figures from the Conference Board of Canada. There were 8,518 starts (seasonally-adjusted figures) in April this year compared to 17,605 units a year earlier. The report said that the situation looks negative in the short term due to lower permit applications..." and Canadian RealEstate Magazine titled the article "CALGARY HOUSING MARKET OUTLOOK IS NEGATIVE says Conference Board of Canada".
At iDeal Calgary Homes, we say since when does less housing starts indicate a "NEGATIVE housing outlook"? The ignorance and fear-mongering of this centrist based Magazine paints an unwarranted picture of Calgary Real Estate, and Calgary Inner City Real Estate with their endless barrage of misleading titles.
At iDeal Calgary Homes we know that when housing starts to decrease, it means less product in a year's time which generally boosts the market and it will be no exception next year in Calgary Real Estate and especially the Calgary Inner City Real Estate market, a prime area of interest for many, especially to the Chinese buyers.
